To clean, simply submerge your basket in soapy water, gently scrub with a soft brush, rinse and set it in the sun to dry. For the leather parts, a gentle leather soap and/or leather conditioner will do the trick. 

If your basket needs a little reshaping, do so while it's wet! Its flexibility is part of its charm.

Just remember: be sure to allow your piece to dry fully to prevent mold.
