Family-owned and operated, Medina Mercantile has imported baskets, artifacts, and clothing from Morocco since 1994. Throughout that time, we have worked with the same family of suppliers and their associated artisan cooperatives to develop and import both traditional baskets and one-of-a-kind pieces. Over the years we have expanded our goods from around the world. 

We seek only products that meet our eye for design and our ethical stand on production. We believe in supporting a production paradigm that keeps families and communities intact while allowing the highest percentage of the purchase price to go directly to the artisans. We take pride in fostering long-term relationships with artisan communities so that each item in our collection tells a story of cultural heritage and skilled craftsmanship.
